Sesame Street Live returns to the Mahoning Valley for four performances at the Covelli Centre.
This year's production is ''Elmo Makes Music.'' The plot has Jenny, an enthusiastic music teacher, arriving on Sesame Street only to discover that her instruments are missing. The Sesame Street gang - Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch and others - come to her rescue and learn to make music with rubber duckies, trash can lids, cookie jars and other found items. Together they teach children that everyone can make and enjoy beautiful music together.
The stage show is designed to help children learn about patience, acceptance and teamwork.
The cast of Sesame Street Live’s “Elmo Makes Music” performs the “Cookie Crumba Rumba.”
It incorporates such pop hits as "The Hustle," "You Should Be Dancing" and "Rockin' Robin" with such Sesame Street favorites as "C Is for Cookie" and "The Alphabet Song."
