These days, getting a date for prom is almost as difficult as finding someone to marry. When it comes to prom proposals, the growing idea is "go big, or don't go at all." It all boils down to how you ask - and you can bet extravagance will prevail.
Kyle Jones, a junior at JFK, did his asking during school. He set up party poppers in a locker belonging to Anna McCue, a sophomore at JFK. There, she also found a note that told her to go to the office. In the office, she found a bouquet of flowers and a note telling her to go to Jones’s locker.
“There I held a sign that said ‘prom,’ and then she got this huge smile on her face, nodded yes whilst nearly bursting into tears,” Jones said.
