WARREN - Bertha Patricia McDougal, 69, of 836 Homewood Ave., died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center following an asthma attack.
She was born Dec. 19, 1943, in Ashville, Ala., the daughter of Earnest and Mary Eliza Dowell Mostella.
Ms. McDougal retired from St. Joseph State Hospital, St. Joseph, Mo., and was a member of New Jerusalem Fellowship Church in Warren.
Survivors include four sons, Timothy Turner, Wilris Turner, Albert Turner and Alexander McDougal, all of St. Joseph, Mo.; one daughter, LaTanya McDougal of Warren; two brothers, Harry Mostella of Ravenna and Wallace Mostella of Ashville; two sisters, Earnestine Williams of Ashville and Olivia Jean Putnam of Warren; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Turner; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at New Jerusalem Fellowship Church, where calling hours will be held one hour prior to service. Family will also receive friends at 836 Homewood Ave. S.E., the home of her daughter, LaTanya McDougal.
Arrangements were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
