BOARDMAN - James E. Fox, 87, died Tuesday morning, May 14, 2013, at Hampton Woods Nursing Center.
He was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Youngstown, the son of Edward J. and Molly Holden Fox.
Jim was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a funeral director and embalmer at Edward J. Fox and Sons Funeral Home and was a member at both St. Patrick and St. Charles parishes.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy A. Johnston Fox; two sons, George and Timothy, both of Boardman; a daughter, Mary Fox of Boardman; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Prayers will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
