HUBBARD - Anthony P. Orlando, 87, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Anthony was born June 6, 1925, in Hubbard, the son of Louis and Theresa Tanuccio Orlando.
He was a 1943 graduate of Hubbard High School and a lifelong Hubbard resident. He was employed at Graybar Electric Company for 38 years, retiring in 1986, and was Sales Representative of the Year in 1978.

Anthony was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church where he served as an usher for 60 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II.
Anthony enjoyed walking, reading, gardening and bird watching.
He will be sadly missed by his family, his wife, the former Anna Mae Tucciarone, whom he married Jan. 28, 1950; his daughter, Marianne (attorney Nicholas E.) Modarelli; his son, Thomas A. (Carla A.) Orlando; his grandson, Nicholas A. (attorney Anissa) Modarelli; and the joys of his life, his three great-grandchildren, Paige, Lainie and Nico Modarelli.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen T. Orlando; his brother, Joseph L. Orlando; and sisters, Rita Orlando and Isabelle Orlando.
There was a private Mass of Christian Burial on May 10 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of Hubbard. Anthony was laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Tejdeep Singh, Dr. Walter Paladino, Dr. Gary Young, Advanced Cardiology Dr. Sudershan Garg; St. Elizabeth Health Center Staff 6 Southwest Extension for their exceptional care and concern, and also Park Vista second floor rehabilitation. Most especially, the wonderful care provided to Anthony by the Home Instead caregivers Ashley, Beverly, Carla, Cheryl, Dan, Diana, Kim, Nicki, Fonda and Pam.
