So, when is free, free? How is it that here in Warren we have a Community Volunteer Council (CVC) which distributes free contributions but many prejudices?
I recently went to CVC on a Thursday, which is the day they give away free bread and sweets for families. My family size is one adult and four children, five total. The woman working expected me to take a small square brownie that would only feed 1 while at the same time there were two 1/4" cakes, two round cakes.
Isn't this supposed to be free? So, was I supposed to give each kid one ''bite'' of brownie vs . a slice of cake?
These things are donated to them to be given away free. This isn't how things work. They take what they want before they even distribute.
Someone should take care of this problem if these things are donated as free items. If that's the case, then these things should be taken to the Salvation Army on Youngstown-Warren Road where they can be sold.
These people act as if they buy these goods themselves.
