Massive budget cuts. Airport traffic controller furloughs. Small airport closures. Flight delays.
All of the above were partial headlines recently. The general public is expected to change their routines to accommodate the needed budget cuts. Fine, we will adapt.
However, the politicians didn't think far enough ahead before approving the cuts. After all, it wouldn't affect them, now would it? Wrong! Their short-sightedness would have forced them to face long delays just like the average person and that just wouldn't work.
Today, they voted to reverse this budget blunder. This is wrong in so many ways.
Just where did they find the funds to reverse this budget cut? It's the old ''rob-Peter-to-pay-Paul'' that will have a domino effect further down the road. Guaranteed the general public will feel the pinch, again.
