ANDOVER - Marjorie E. Martin, 84, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Andover Village Retirement Community after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Leavittsburg, the daughter of Edith Hayes and Charles Harrison Williams.
Marge retired from Andover Bulb Plant General Electric. She was a member of Andover First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha L. Schilling of Aurora; a stepson, Freddie Joe of Hopkinsville, Ky.; five sisters, Lois Betts of Andover, Faye Borland of Cortland, Wanda Nussbaumer of Bazetta, Karen Hall of Wayne and Darlene Bean of Andover; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.M. "Butch" Martin, three sisters and four brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service in Andover, where calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover.
