The Spring Graduating BFA Show opens Friday at the McDonough Museum of Art.
The exhibition showcases the work of students graduating in May from Youngstown State University's department of art. The museum traditionally hosts exhibitions featuring the work of graduating students at the end of the fall and spring semesters. This current exhibit will feature the artwork of 17 students and includes drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, sculpture, video and web design.
Students participating in this exhibition are: Kahlila Alexander, Anthony Balkan, Kevin C. Buck, Richard Darbey, Jacqueline DeChant, Brian Dudek, Ciara Fisher, Catherine Lape, Rob Marlin, Anthony Moreton, Veronica Ann Nolen, Nicole Novotny, Kelly Pero, Elise Petras, Bonnie Siembieda, Lindsey St. Pierre and Bruce Stepan Jr.
The show runs Friday through May 10 at the McDonough, 411 Wick Ave., Youngstown. An opening reception is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and admission is free.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
