WARREN - Margaret Irene Bitner Foster, 85, of Warren, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Margaret was born Sept. 17, 1927, in Cleveland, to the late Elmer and Mabel Goldsworthy Bitner.
She was a 1945 graduate of Howland High School, and then went on to a long career at the Union Savings and Trust Company, where she later retired. After retirement, she went on to volunteer for the American Red Cross and Trumbull Mobile Meals and was an active member of the Howland Community Church, where she served as deaconess.
Margaret is survived by two sons, Jeffrey L. (Kelly) Foster of Atlanta and James C. (Kimberly) Foster of Warren; three grandchildren, Drew, Chris and Tyler; and one grandnephew, Stephen.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer J.; and sisters, Eleanor, Pauline and Ruth.
Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Lane Family, Roberts-Clark Chapel, where the family will then receive friends immediately following the service until 6 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date in the Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
