COALITION TO MEET ON HEALTHY COMMUNITIES: The Creating Healthy Communities Coalition will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center, 6000 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles. Discussion will include Bike to Work Day, Leavittsburg trail, community gardens, Bolindale Food Pantry, a Learning Connection Summit in May, school to farm in July, tobacco-free schools and food service conference.
NEW BIKE RACK INSTALLED: Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership and the Trumbull County Health Department have installed a bike rack and sculpture in downtown Warren.
The bike rack was designed, built and installed by Aaron Chine and made possible with funding from the Ohio Department of Health and the RJ Wean Foundation. It is located on Pine Street at East Market in front of the Horseshoe Bar, 206 E. Market St.
TNP and the health department sponsored the effort in order foster a more bicycle-friendly downtown area. The TNP and the health department are also planning a Bike to Work Day to be held from 6 to 9 a.m. May 17 at the log cabin in Warren.
LEARNING SERIES: Earth Angel Farm is co-sponsoring a "Lunch'n Learn" speaker series with St. Joseph Health Center to be offered throughout the spring.
The grant and lecture series assist Earth Angel Farm, which is a non-profit organization that supports individuals with physical and developmental disabilities and those under-served in the community by offering employment, education and socialization in agricultural settings or agricultural-related settings.
The next program is 11 a.m. May 14 on flowering annuals. Earth Angel Farm has received a Neighborhood SUCCESS and Leadership grant through the Raymond John Wean Foundation.
CONCERT TO HELP RELAY: Relay For Life of Warren sponsored by Team Naz Champs will hold a benefit concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Champion Church of the Nazarene, 3924 High St. N.W. A freewill offering will be taken, with all donations to benefit the American Cancer Society. Local singers and comedians will perform.
PROGRAM PART OF AUTISM AWARENESS: To celebrate Autism Awareness Month, the Autism Society of Ohio, Mahoning Valley is sponsoring the workshop, ''Defusing Challenging Behavior,'' from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ohio One Auditorium, 25 E. Boardman St. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. The presenter is Wendy Szakacs, a regional consultant.
COALITION HOSTS FUNDRAISER: CreativeBridge Coalition will host "Soul Night," a fundraising event featuring music of soul bands of the 1960s, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
The event, benefiting children's music-based programs, will take place at the Fireplace Restaurant & Lounge, 2075 E. Western Reserve Road in Youngstown.
CreativeBridge Coalition serves young children and those with special needs by bringing music into their lives. Proceeds from the event will help The Rich Center for Autism.

BANQUET SPOTLIGHTS SAFETY: The faith-based community organizing group ACTION (Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods), will hold its 11th annual community fundraiser banquet at 5 p.m. May 2 at St. Luke Parish Banquet Hall, 5235 South Ave., Boardman.
The event will feature Judge Theresa Dellick, Mahoning Count Court of Common Pleas Juvenile Division, who will speak on the theme "Working Together for a Safer Community." Various awards will be presented.
