ELYRIA - Keith Richard "Bubba" Adamson, 55, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at University Hospital in Cleveland following a brief illness.
He was born, in Swickley, Pa., Aug. 22, 1957, the son of John and Kathryn Adamson, and had lived in Elyria for the past 25 years.
Bubba had been employed as a truck driver for Modular Company in Grand Rapids, Mich. He enjoyed working on race cars and going to car races.
Survivors include his former wife, Debra; brothers, Tom (Sherry) Adamson of Elyria, Danny Adamson of Waynesburg, Pa., and John (Donna) Adamson of Streetsboro; sisters, Karen (Jerry) Carter of Birch River, W.Va., Janet (Tony) Krokos of Ravenna and Cindy (Rod) Thompson of Warren; stepmother, Ruby Adamson; three stepbrothers; two stepsisters; 17 nieces and nephews; and 26 great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, 114 Hope Court, Elyria. Pastor Darrell Edgar will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
