WARREN - Edward C. Taylor, 79, entered into eternal rest at 8:32 p.m. Monday evening, April 15, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center.
Edward was born Jan. 6, 1934, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Fred and Helena Taylor.
A member of Grace A.M.E. Church, he retired after 23 years as a supervisor at General Motors Corp., Lordstown.

Edward proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was also a dedicated volunteer with Trumbull Mobile Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include his wife, the former M. Andrea Blakely; five sons, Larry Taylor of California, Michael Taylor of Cleveland, Kenny Taylor of Columbus, Edward Taylor Jr. of Warren and Reginald Rawlings of Kernersville, N.C.; two daughters, Roslyn Taylor of Warren and Renee Freeman of Chesapeake, Va.; one sister, Bernice Sutton of Sparks, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bobby Taylor; one son, Frederick Taylor; and one daughter, Ramona Taylor.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace A.M.E. Church, 1137 Main St., Warren. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Pineview Cemetery with military honors.
