SOUTHINGTON - Donald "Butch" Ray Martin, 65, entered into rest Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his home following a lengthy illness surrounded by his family.
He was born Dec. 3, 1947, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Donald and Betty Noah Martin.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired from DeSalvo Construction in 2000. Butch was a member of Southington Christian Church, the Local 935 Laborers Hall and the American Legion Post 0751 in Southington.
Butch's memory will be cherished by his wife, the former Dolores M. "Dolly" Derov, whom he married June 13, 1973; three sons, Donald R. Martin Jr. of Southington, Donald J. Davis of Niles and Brian J. Davis of Southington; one daughter, Saundra L. (George) Powell of Seattle; two brothers, Scott Cochran and Lee (Debbie) Cochran, both of Lower Burrell, Pa.; one sister, Cindy (Joe) DeUnger of Pittsburgh; and three granddaughters, Christina (Caleb) Williams, Alyssa Powell and Miranda Martin.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road N.E., Warren, OH 44483, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in Graham Cemetery in Southington, with military honors provided by the Trumbull County Honor Guard.
