Fri., 11:52am: $1 million bond set for Warren murder suspect

April 12, 2013
Tribune Chronicle |

WARREN -- A 39-year-old local man, who was once considered homeless, was being held in lieu of $1 million bond after pleading not guilty Friday to charges of aggravated murder in the stabbing death of a Warren man he knew.

Richard A. Clark, who has had various Warren and Niles area addresses in Trumbull County and others in Columbiana County, was scheduled for a pre-trial April 25 before Common Pleas Judge Ronald Rice.

Besides the murder charge, Clark also was indicted this week on charges of aggravated robbery and possession of heroin after police found the body of Dwayne Hickman, 49, stabbed about a dozen times and found inside his Williamsburg Street N.W. home March 25 after a family member was concerned about his well being.
