YOUNGSTOWN - Three men were indicted Thursday for charges relating to a pair of homicides on the far East Side in 2011.

Indicted on two counts of aggravated murder as well as having firearms under disability was 30-year-old Dewaylyn Colvin; Michael Leonard Austin Jr., 19, of Midland Avenue; and Hakeem Dwan Henderson, 21, of Union Street in Salem. He also has an address in San Diego.

Police say Henderson is the older brother of Austin.

The three are accused of the murder of Adam Christian, 23, who was shot and killed at 1477 Woodcrest Ave. early in the morning of Nov. 13, 2011 and Raymond "Remel" Hayes, no age available, who was found shot to death near Gerwig and Knapp streets in the Sharon Line area.

A Mahoning County Common Pleas Court grand jury handed down the indictments late Thursday afternoon. Austin was also indicted for the charge of attempted murder for the Dec. 23, 2012, shooting of Deray Johnson.
