Tribune Chronicle |

WARREN - A man accused in the stabbing death of a Williamsburg Street resident was indicted today on a murder charge.

Richard A. Clark, 39, of various Warren and Niles addresses, also was indicted on aggravated robbery and heroin possession charges.

He is accused of stabbing Dwayne Hickman, 49, close to a dozen times last month. Warren police discovered Hickman's body at his home March 25 after a family member asked them to check on his welfare. The Trumbull County Coroner's Office confirmed Hickman likely died around March 19.

Police initially arrested Clark March 26 when they spotted Hickman's vehicle, which Clark is accused of stealing, at a house in Warren. However, because Clark was unconscious when police found him, he was taken to a local hospital under police watch and taken into custody later.
