WARREN - Jerry L. Bowker, 71, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at The Manor at Autumn Hills after a long illness.
Jerry was born July 25, 1941, in Warren, and was the son of the late William and Ann McDonald Bowker Jr.
Jerry was a graduate of Harding High School and class president in 1959.
He retired from General Motors and was a former Warren City firefighter. He also delivered flowers for Adgate and Son Florist for many years.
He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Ashley, especially at Geneva-on-the-Lake, which was one of his favorite places to visit. He also enjoyed walking and biking at Mosquito Lake Park.
Memories of Jerry will be carried on by his sons, Eric Bowker of Howland and Shawn Bowker of Warren; his granddaughter, Ashley Bowker of Howland; and a brother-in-law, Sidney McBane of Warren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Bowker, whom he married Dec. 30, 1960. They shared many wonderful years together.
According to Jerry's wishes, private services have been held.
