CHAMPION - Anna B. Chidboy, 85, entered peacefully into eternal rest Sunday, April 7, 2013, on Divine Mercy Sunday at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Anna was born Feb. 22, 1928, in Barnesboro, Pa., the daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes Wyzyn Wysocki, and had resided in the Warren area since 1955.
Anna was a member of St. William's Catholic Church in Champion and enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her family along with being a devoted and loving mother and devout Catholic.
On May 3, 1952, Anna was united into marriage with Charles J. Chidboy Jr. and had shared 60 years together, until his passing Feb. 17, 2012.
Her memories will be celebrated and cherished by her sons, Thomas C. Chidboy of Warren, David J. (Mariann) Chidboy of Bluffton, S.C.; daughters, Kathleen M. Chidboy of Warren, Christine M. (Frank) Pennini of Pasadena, Md., Carolyn M. Chidboy of Warren and Annemarie (Rory) McLean of Broadview Heights; a sister, Mary Wysocki of Barnesboro, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Louise Wysocki of Bakerton, Pa.; grandchildren, Sarah Pennini, Michael Chidboy, Jennifer Chidboy, Danielle McLean and Corey McLean.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles J. Chidboy Jr.; sister, Rozia Wysocki; and six brothers, John, Peter, Frank, Joseph, Michael and Louis and Albert Wysocki.
A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Michael Balash, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. William's Catholic Church in Champion, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Cortland.
