WARREN - Naudean Belle Burr, 77, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Naudean was born June 26, 1935, in Dorset, the daughter of Charles Howard and Lottie Muse Burr.
In 1953, she graduated from Andover High School and went on to join the Army in June of that year. Following her discharge from the service in 1955, she began working as an account planner for Packard Electric for 34 years until her retirement in 1993.
Naudean was a member of Howland United Methodist Church. She loved animals; whether it be her family's dogs or the birds she fed in her yard, she loved them all. She enjoyed bowling and liked to collect wall hangings, especially those depicting loons and lighthouses. Above all, she loved her family and the time she spent with them.
She will be sadly missed by her brother, Homer (Jan) Burr of Cortland; her nieces, the Rev. Valerie Waibel and Denise Potvin; and her nephews, Douglas (Karen) Burr, Michael (Annette) Burr and Dr. John (Anne) Burr.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family may call from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Crown Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel. A service will be held immediately following at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Val Waibel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Naudean's name to Lake Vista of Cortland c/o Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services Foundation, 1001 Kingsmill Parkway, Columbus, OH 43229.
