OPERATION LOVE HELPS CHILDREN: Residents at two Shepherd of the Valley communities will fill baskets with Easter treats on Monday.
For more than 20 years, the residents at Shepherd of the Valley-Niles have provided Easter baskets for Children Services of Trumbull County through their Operation Love program. Last year, Shepherd of the Valley-Boardman joined Operation Love, making baskets for Children Services of Mahoning County.
TEAPOTS DISPLAYED: A selection of teapots from the Hall China Company of East Liverpool is on display in the Sutliff Museum through April. Hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday at the Sutliff Museum, on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library.

RIVER OF HOPE HELPS FAMILIES: Donations of cell phones, laptops, digital cameras, ink cartridge and old electronics can be recycled to benefit River of Hope International Inc., 1460 Hyde Oakfield Road, North Bloomfield. For information, call 330-889-9480.
River of Hope supports schools in northern Ethiopia. The organization helps schools become self-sufficient and provides materials and supplies to improve education. The goal is to foster cultural awareness between children in the United States and Ethiopia.
River of Hope is the dream of Craig and Stacey Klotzbach of North Bloomfield, who have an adopted daughter from Ethiopia.
ASSOCIATION PLANS CEMETERY WORK: The Newton Township Cemetery Association addresses the needs of the seven township cemeteries in maintaining the headstones, documenting the information from the headstones, and helping with events. The group maintains the chapel and also provides insurance for it.
