MIAMISBURG - Nile Ira DuVall, 100, formerly of Canfield, died Friday evening, March 22, 2013, in his home.
He was born March 19, 1913, in Beaver, the son of the Rev. Benjamin A. and Virgie V. Hixson DuVall.
Nile worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and later AT&T, retiring in 1976 as an engineer after 38 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the Seabees and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Youngstown and Miamisburg.
Survivors include two sons, Lloyd DuVall and Howard A. DuVall, both of Springsboro; a brother, Dean DuVall of Columbiana; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are his wife, Alice B. Moyer DuVall; a daughter, Lois Knox; a sister; and two brothers.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Paradise United Church of Christ in Canfield. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery.
