WARREN - Ann J. Vadas, 93, passed away at 5:35 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Ann was born Oct. 21, 1919, the daughter of Anthony and Filomena Clementi Russomano.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (SS. Cyril and Methodius Church) and a 500 card club.

Ann enjoyed her family, bowling, playing cards, sewing and canning. She was a proud homemaker and always put her family first. They will all miss her excellent Italian cooking.
Ann is survived by her two daughters, Gloria (Tom) Bertleff of Champion and Donna Wasko of Warren; seven grandchildren, Judy Nicholas, Thomas (Brandie) Bertleff, Danny (Summer) Wasko, Danette Wasko, Suzanne, Dee Dee and Renee Vadas; eight great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Kayla, Nathan, Dan, Myah, Joseph and Nicolas; and two sisters, Rose Mary Ringer of Newton Falls and Gloria (Homer) Elberty of Sharpsville, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George J. Vadas Sr., whom she married Feb. 21, 1943, and who passed away Aug. 1, 1989; son, George Vadas Jr.; granddaughter, Lynn Vadas; and eight brothers and eight sisters.
Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road N.E., Warren, OH 44483. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (SS. Cyril and Methodius Church) with the Rev. James P. Walker officiating.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
