ESPYVILLE, Pa. - Harry J. McBride 78, passed away unexpectedly at 1:33 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Sharon Regional Health System.
Mr. McBride was born on July 30, 1934, in Hubbard, the son of Myron and Gladys Reiser McBride.
He was a graduate of Brookfield High School and had worked for both GATX in Masury as a welder and also had served as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 35 years before his retirement in 1995.
In his free time, he was an avid fisherman and loved boating wife his wife and family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 17 years, the former Jean Chase; six children, Crystal (Jim) Gorey of Canton, Patrick (Linda) McBride of Piney Flats, Tenn., Kelly (Bob) Valencic of Erie, Pa., Colleen Valencic of Youngstown, Ben McBride of Oil City, Pa., and Ray J. (Heather) Rice III of Masury; two brothers, Dick (Darlene) McBride of Brookfield and Ted McBride of Midland, Mich.; his sister, Patricia Radichevich of Niceville, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Dennis McBride, in 2011.
