HOWLAND - About a third of the bears and other gifts left at the site where six teens were killed during the early morning hours of March 10 have been burned.

Over the last week, hundreds of bears and other memorials were left at the site of the crash to memorialize the Warren teens who died when the SUV in which they were riding hit and flipped over a guardrail on Niles Warren River Road.

Dispatchers for the Howland police and fire departments, as well as the Trumbull County 911 said they were not aware of any reports of fires at the site.

Four days after funerals began for the victims of the accident, people are still stopping at the site near the entrance of RG Steel, leaving gifts and saying silent prayers.
