The Timken Company on Friday announced its acquisition of Interlube Systems Ltd., which makes and markets automated lubrication delivery systems and related components.
The U.K.-based company services market sectors that include commercial vehicles, construction, mining, and heavy and general industries.
Timken has been adding to its product portfolio. Interlube focuses on areas where automated lubrication systems can help extend up-time and reduce maintenance costs for end users.
Timken engineers, manufactures and markets mechanical components and high-performance steel with worldwide operations. The company operates a Niles plant, employing about 40 workers there.
