DEADLINE APPROACHING: First Book-Trumbull County is currently seeking entries to the fifth annual Edible Book Fest fundraiser. Creative cooks, bakers and artists are invited to submit their plans to enter by Friday by contacting Ellen Finan at 330-638-4393. The Edible Book Fest is a celebration of children's books and handcrafted art and will be held at 6 p.m. March 14 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. SCIENCE DAY AT YSU: The Ohio Academy of Sciences District 15 Lake to River Science Day will be held Saturday at Youngstown State University Beeghly Center. The event is for grades fifth to 12th. This is one of 16 regional science fairs in Ohio that are sanctioned by the Ohio Academy of Science. Each year, the day attracts hundreds of science research projects from students.
