A man wanted for questioning in the New Year's morning Sunset Lounge homicide case in Warren was arrested this morning.
U.S. Marshals arrested Orlonzo Murry, 26, 1016 Bennett Ave. N.W., Warren, about 2 a.m. today in Columbus on a warrant from Warren police for having a firearm in a liquor establishment.
Murry will be held in the Franklin County Jail before a hearing will be held to determine if he should be returned to Warren.
Police Chief Timothy Bowers said Murry is wanted for questioning in the death of 25-year-old Cory Blackwell, who was shot in the early morning hours inside the bar on the corner of East Market Street and Elm Road.
Trumbull County Coroner Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk ruled that Blackwell died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Bowers said Murry is not a suspect, but he is a "person of interest." No other arrests have been made in the case.
The shooting was the last in string of woes at the East Market Street bar that lead up to its closing two days later.
