SAVANNAH, Ga. - Harry James Jerald, 69, formerly of McDonald, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at his residence following a battle with lymphoma.
He was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Savannah, the son of June Seybert and Harry O. Jerald.
Mr. Jerald was retired from the trucking industry and was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Savannah. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Jerald; a son, Scott Jerald; two stepsons, Trey and Clay Kelley; a daughter, Stacey Buff; a stepbrother, Frank Toth of Canfield; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his father; a stepfather, Frank Toth Sr., and a stepsister.
A memorial service was held Feb. 11.
Arrangements were handled by Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home in Savannah.
