CHAMPION - Kathryn J. Snyder, 81, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Renaissance North.
She was born July 25, 1931, in Punxsutawney, Pa., the daughter of the late Dallas Milliron and the late Lucy Burkett Milliron.
She attended the Church at Warren and loved her church family. She was employed as a press operator at Packard Electric for 20 years.
Kathryn was a God-loving woman and she had a very gentle heart. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always interested in what was going on in their lives. She had a caring nature, which showed in her prayers and giving to those in need.
She also loved her furry friends and had many through the years. If there are birds in heaven, she'll be feeding them.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Ralph) Masters of Farmdale and Tina Snyder of Mineral Ridge; a son, Michael D. Snyder Sr. of Champion; a brother, Dallas (Darlene) Milliron II of Punxsutawney; a sister, Helen (Homer) Enterline of Punxsutawney; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald D. Snyder, whom she married on June 7, 1950, and who passed away June 13, 1998; a son, Kenneth Snyder; a daughter, Vicki Meardith; a sister, Evelyn; and her twin sisters.
Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Entombment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
The family requests that material contributions be made to the charity of their choice in her memory.
