HERMITAGE, Pa. - Mary M. Jagatich, 93, of John XXIII Home in Hermitage, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.
She was born April 26, 1919, in Sharon, Pa., the daughter of Michael S. and Agnes M. Markusic Kuzel.
Mary served this country during World War II with the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps.
Mrs. Jagatich was also a homemaker.
She leaves her son, Carl Jagatich of Chagrin Falls; three daughters, Dr. Cynthia Simpson of Pleasant Plains, Ill., Celeste Mathieson of Grove City, Pa., and Paula Riley of Galloway; her sister, Helen Bralich of Farrell, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maj. Ferdinand S. Jagatich, four brothers and four sisters.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel of Lane Family Funeral Homes, Brookfield, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Entombment will take place at Crown Hill Mausoleum, where full military honors will be observed.
