LOVE STINKS CHOCOLATE FEST: The sixth annual Love Stinks Chocolate Fest for students in seventh to 12th grade will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the main library of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W. The event will include chocolate tasting, music and crafts.
RELAY KICKS OFF WITH EVENT: The Liberty Relay for Life will hold a Lights of Love kickoff from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way, The event will include a luminary ceremony at 6:45 p.m. to celebrate Valentine's Day and honor loved ones. Cancer survivors are invited to wear purple shirts. Teams will have items for sale, and luminaries will be available.
GUILD TO MEET: The Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Canfield Colonial Inn on the Canfield Fairgrounds. POET TO SHARE STORY OF NURSE: The Newton Falls Public Library will host local author and poet Jeanne Bryner at 2 p.m. Saturday. Bryner will present her stories and memories about Helen Albert, civil rights activist and first black registered nurse in Trumbull County. Bryner was recently awarded a 2012 American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award for her book of poems titled "Smoke."
