PYMATUNING TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A Youngstown man was shot by a township police officer about 8:25 p.m. Wednesday and the man also shot a woman in a North Hermitage Road home, police said.
Pennsylvania State Police at Mercer said the men, identified as Jessi Hudson of Youngstown, shot an unidentified woman after police responded to a 911 call at the home.
The responding officer heard gunfire, went inside, and shot Hudson, who then barricaded himself inside the house. He came out after a two-hour standoff.
Hudson and the woman's wounds are not life threatening. He was arraigned on counts of aggravated assault, burglary and manufacturing or delivering drugs and is in the Mercer County Jail on $300,000 bond.
