WARREN - Mary A. Hill, 69, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 2, 1943, in Warren, the daughter of the late Raymond Morris and the late Jenny Lewis.
Mary was married Aug. 29, 1964, to Jack E. Hill. This devoted, caring and thoughtful mother and wife always put her children and grandson Gator first.
She was employed as a custodian at Lakeview Schools. She did volunteer work at the Leavittsburg Church of God. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and laughing.
She is survived by her daughters, Karren Totherow of Warren and Candace Hill of Diamond; son, Timothy (Traci) Hill of Fowler; stepdaughter, Jackie Nosich of Alaska; sisters, Dee Clutter, Lois Miller and Gwen Swartzsager; brothers, Dick Morris and Bobby Morris; and 13 grandchildren, including, Gator, Jacob, Jessica, Alex and Aaron, along with her beloved four-legged grandchildren, Lucky, Bindy and Chloe, whom she always had to run home to and take care of. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack E. Hill, who passed away June 18, 1990, and six brothers and sisters.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Vista Community Center, 303 N. Mecca St., Cortland, OH 44410.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, c/o Mary Hill, 409 Harmon Ave. N.W., Warren, OH 44483, in her memory.
