IRONTON - Donald Ray Clutters Sr., 72, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at his residence.
He was born July 4, 1940, in Lawrence County, the son of Fred and Anna Mae Arthurs Clutters.
Mr. Clutters worked for Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren and was a member of Stormes Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae Bentley Clutters; a daughter, Lisa Dawn of Warren; a son, Donald Ray Clutters Jr. of New Hamphire; a stepson, Jerry "Skip McIntyre" Leith of Lebanon, Tenn.; a brother, George Clutters of Ironton; three sisters, Mary Ann Neal of Greensboro, N.C., Freda Cade of Waverly and Pat Hall of Goshen, Ind., three granddaughters; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Lou Reed Clutters, a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, where funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Burial will follow in Mamre Cemetery.
