CANFIELD - Judith A. Marino, 63, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Hospice House in Poland following a brief illness.
Judy was born April 23, 1949, in Youngstown, the daughter of Frank R. and Mary L. Sorice Marino.
She attended the Leonard Kirtz School and had worked for the Meshel MASCO Workshop for many years.
Ms. Marino was a former member of St. Brendan Catholic Church and had loved spending time with two cats, Ben and Skippy, whom she cherished.
She leaves behind her brother, Frank (Cathy) Marino of Brookfield; niece, Carrie Marino of Brookfield; great-niece, Mackenzie; aunt, Rae Solomon of Hubbard; several cousins; and by her many friends from Turning Point and the Meshel Workshop.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and by several aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel, 6923 Warren Sharon Road, Brookfield, OH 44403.
A Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Rose Catholic Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard, OH 44420, with the Rev. Msgr. John A. Zuraw as pastor.
Burial will take place with her parents at Calvary Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions to either Angels for Animals, 4750 state Route 165, Canfield, or to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown.
