MAUI, Hawaii - David M. Loychik, 35, of Maui, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, in his home of a pulmonary embolism.
David was born Jan. 26, 1978, in Warren, the son of David N. Loychik and Beverly Nelder Williams.
David worked for the Aloha Air Cargo in Maui. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Cleveland sports fan, and enjoyed cooking out with his friends.
David leaves his loving family, his father, David N. Loychik and stepmother Darla of Cortland; his mother, Beverly Williams and stepfather Monty of Niles; grandmothers, Mildred Loychik of Warren and Rebecca Currie of Champion; his half-brothers, Tyler Torres of Niles and Bobby Torres Jr. of Youngstown; his stepbrother, Paul Murgola of Cortland; his uncles, Steve Nelder of Akron and Patrick Nelder of Point Marion, Pa.; and he also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
David was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Nicholas Loychik and Michael Nelder; great-grandmother, Ruth Garner; and uncle, Tim Nelder.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at noon, also at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jonathan Cholcher officiating.
Entombement will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery Mausoleum.
