WARREN - Garnet Bluebaugh, 88, of Warren, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1924, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Daniel Collier Sr. and the late Charlotte Moser Collier.
Garnet was a member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church and was active in missions and the Deborah Circle at the church.
She was a homemaker, former English and history teacher and a member of the Eastern Star 263. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, reading, baking, cooking and bird watching.
She is survived by her children, Thomas (Diana) Bluebaugh of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Charlotte Bluebaugh of Warren, and grandchildren, Jacob Bluebaugh, Sarah (Joe) Rohde and Stephen Bluebaugh.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Darr, and a brother, Daniel Collier Jr.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dr. James Ellison officiating.
Interment will be in Champion Township Cemetery in Champion.
