WARREN - Dennis L. "Denny" Beach, 73, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 15, 1939, in Dickinson, N.D., the son of the late Elwood Beach and the late Eva Shutter Schulte.
He worked at General Motors in the final processing department for 30 years until his retirement.
Denny was a Mason and a member of the NAUS Club 017C, the Moose Lodge and a lifetime member of the Hog Club. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed going to AMA Flat Track Races. He was an avid reader and loved his family and dogs, Darci and Chloe.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie Beach, whom he married Feb. 1, 1980; his children, Scott (Lisa) Beach of Pepin, Wis., Lynne Beach of Red Wing, Minn., and Denise Tiller of Pismo Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marlys Canfield of Eau Claire, Wis.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Bret Grossman, and a brother, Dale Beach.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
