MINERAL RIDGE - Sarah Anne Hopper Gray, 87, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Northside Medical Center.
She was born April 29, 1925, in Knoxville, Tenn., the daughter of Clarence and Eva Smith Burchfield.
She worked at Oak Rubber in Ravenna and was formerly a member of the Lake Milton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Andrew Hopper Jr. of Mantua, Dave Hopper of Lake Milton, James Hopper of Mineral Ridge, Gerald Hopper of Newton Falls and Jeanette Krygowski of Yulle, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Algia Parks of Liberty; and a brother, Victor Burchfield of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew E. Hopper Sr.; her second husband, Frank V. Gray; two sons, John and Charles Hopper; a daughter, Eva Gray; four grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will take place in Brunstetter Cemetery.
