Leavittsburg - Donna M. Hites, 76, of Leavittsburg, entered into rest on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
Donna was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Canton, the daughter of Edward and Elsie Belden Langley.
She was a 1954 graduate of Farmington High School.
On Feb. 16, 1957, Donna and Gordon J. Hites were united in marriage.
A longtime area resident, Donna was a homemaker and a loving mother. She was the family historian and able to answer any question about the family.
Donna will be remembered as a giving person and was always willing to give help to others.
Among her favorite pastimes were flower arranging, working on crafts, going to garage sales and taking vacations.
Cherished memories of Donna will be carried on by her loving family, her children, Jeff Hites, Rhonda and Ron Burwell and Kim, Terry, Carla and Jody Hites; her grandchildren, Tessa, Nicole, Jesse, Tyler, Randy, Gary, Dean, Kelly, Ryan and Rick; her great-grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Brittney, Courtney, Randi, Dalton, Blake, Clayton, Brielle, Raylynn and Donnie; and her brothers and sisters, Dan (Sherry) Langley, Lois McKnight, Ethel Dines, Darla (Ralph) Cleer, Mary Long Golden and Kathleen (Max) Mansfield.
Preceding Donna were her husband, Gordon, on Jan. 11, 2004; her parents; her twin sister, Doris Langley; and her grandsons, Dallas and Ronnie Burwell.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Donna will be laid to rest in Sager Memorial Cemetery in Bristolville.
