YMCA TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE: The Trumbull County YMCA, 210 High St. N.W., will hold an open house for the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The public will be able to see the different programs and tour the complex which has had remodeling and other work done in the past year.
PENGUIN PARTY FOR CHILDREN: The Cortland Library Branch, 578 Lakeview Drive, will hold a Penguin Party at 5 p.m. Thursday. The event will include a special story, a craft and games. SCOPE HOSTS CHILI CHALLENGE: The Lordstown SCOPE Center is hosting a chili challenge at 5 p.m. Friday at the center, 1776 Salt Springs Road. Entry to the event is through the back of the building.
