WEATHERSFIELD - Myrtle ''Eloise'' Bell Todd died peacefully at 5:33 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.
Eloise was born May 20, 1922, on Ohltown Road in Weathersfield, the only child of Cecil Robert Bell and Ella Laverne Jeffries Bell.
She was a 1940 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and attended Trumbull Business College. She was employed by Bostwick and Ohio Edison in Niles.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Niles. She enjoyed interacting with others and loved the animal companions that were part of her life.
She married her high-school sweetheart, William A. Todd, on Oct, 31, 1943, in Denver.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Marc) Minto of Mineral Ridge and Julie Lynne (Tom) Todd of State College, Pa., and her granddaughter, Tracey A. (Kurt) Wright of Youngstown.
Preceding her in death were her husband on July 5, 1984, and her son, James Robert Todd, on Sept. 7, 2004.
Friends and family are invited to attend the burial of her urn and a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Kerr Cemetery on Salt Springs Road in Weathersfield. The Rev. Cynthia Klingemier from the First Christian Church will be officiating.
