STRUTHERS - Rebecca Ann Spay, 68, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Renaissance North in Warren.
Mrs. Spay was born Dec. 3, 1944, in Youngstown, the daughter of George and Helen Boozer Repasky.
She was a 1962 graduate of Struthers High School and attended the Newberry College in South Carolina. Mrs. Spay worked as a secretary for DeBartolo Corp. in the '60s and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers. Mrs. Spay enjoyed knitting, crocheting and going to garage sales.
In addition to her mother, Helen Repasky, of Struthers, she is survived by her daughter, Leona (Dr. Mike) Scavina of Poland; a son, David Spay II of Warren; a brother, George Repasky of Struthers; and five grandchildren, Michael and Alaina Scavina, and Alexis, Allyson and Noah Spay.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland with Deacon Paul Lisko officiating. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
