MATHEWS 72, BLOOMFIELD 32: BLOOMFIELD - The Mustangs jumped out to a 21-4 lead and never looked back in this Northeastern Athletic Conference game.
Four players scored in double figures for Mathews, which is now 4-6 on the season. Andy Morgan and Aaron Suchanek each had 15 points. Wyatt Ford had 12 and Tommy Sharp added 11. The Mustangs face Youngstown Christian on Tuesday.
Coty Turner paced Bloomfield (1-9) with 15 points. Isaiah Noce chipped in 11.
MAPLEWOOD 65, LORDSTOWN 57: LORDSTOWN - The Rockets improved to 8-4 on the season with a victory over the Red Devils.
Maplewood took a 17-10 lead after the first quarter, which was extended to 37-26 at the half. Lordstown tried to make a comeback, outscoring Maplewood 15-6 in the third quarter, but it wasn't enough.
Ethan Obradovich had a big game for Maplewood, which is now 4-1 in the conference, with 18 points. Nate Spitler had 13 points and Luke Evan dropped in 11. The Rockets host Champion on Tuesday.

Nick Johnson led Lordstown (3-9, 2-4) with 21 points. Jake Jones added 14 and Steven Gill chipped in 10.
LaBRAE 50, CHAMPION 37: LEAVITTSBURG - Peyton Aldridge scored 25 points, including four alley-oop dunks, and helped the Vikings stay perfect in the National Division of the All-American Conference.
Aldridge, who recorded a double-double by corralling 10 rebounds, registered 11 points in the first quarter as LaBrae (8-1, 5-0) took a 12-6 lead. The Vikings slowly pulled away after that, outscoring Champion, 26-22, in the next two quarters. No other player reached double figures for LaBrae, which plays at Brookfield on Tuesday.
Chris Miller paced the Golden Flashes with 16 points.
AUSTINTOWN FITCH 68, HOWLAND 58: HOWLAND - Despite having the early lead, the Tigers could not hold on against the Falcons in AAC, American Division action.
Howland held a slim 15-12 lead at the end of the first half but fell behind as Fitch outscored Howland 22-11 before half.
Jesse Driver led Fitch with 17 points. Austin Hogan added 16 and Quincy Higgins chipped in 15.
Howland's Arbie Murray led all scorers with 22 points. John-Mark Weisman added 14 points for the Tigers, who are now 3-8.
BROOKFIELD 70, YOUNGSTOWN CHRISTIAN 49: YOUNGSTOWN - Led by the double-double effort of Collin Harkulich, the Warriors were able to pick up the victory over Youngstown Christian.
The Eagles kept it close through one, and even at half the score was 28-21. However after halftime, Brookfield pulled away, outscoring the Eagles 41-28 in the second half.
Harkulich had 18 points and 14 rebounds for Brookfield (7-1). Jeremy Quinlan added 15 points and Ryan Mosora chipped in 12. Jimmy Quinlan had seven points and seven assits.
D. Williams led Youngstown Christian was led by with 23 points.
MINERAL RIDGE 74, UNITED 38: MINERAL RIDGE - Propelled by the offensive performance of Corey Phillips, Mineral Ridge picked up its eighth win of the season in a route of United.
Phillips paced Mineral Ridge (8-4, 6-1 Inter Tri-County League, Upper Tier) scoring 21 points for the Rams, hitting five 3-pointers. Phillips scored eight points in the first quarter to help give Mineral Ridge a 18-9 lead after one. The Rams used a 27-5 third quarter to put the game out of reach for United. Brandon Perkins scored 17 points for the Rams, while Nathan Palmer and Zac Hagy each added 12.
Brandon Miller led the scoring attack for United (1-10, 1-6 ITCL) with 13 points. Caleb Conser chipped in with eight.
Mineral Ridge looks for its ninth win of the season as it faces Crestview on the road.
NILES 63, STRUTHERS 57: STRUTHERS - Niles took a 10 point lead after the first quarter and was able to hold on against Struthers.
James Tate dropped 17 points for Niles, Ray Russ scored 12 and Kyle Paden chipped in with 10. Ray'Quan Phifer led the way for Struthers with 17 points. Dan Partika chipped in with 13 points for the Wildcats.
Niles will host Poland in an All-American Conference battle on Tuesday. Struthers looks to rebound as it faces Howland on the road in a AAC battle.
GIRARD 70, LAKEVIEW 55: GIRARD - Craig Randall had 21 of his game-high 32 points in the second half as the Indians rolled past the Bulldogs in this AAC, National Division game.
Evan Standohar added 11 points, while Korri Maynard put in 10 for Girard (7-3, 4-1).
Erich Schmitt led Lakeview (1-10, 0-5) with 15 points, while Jake Pishotti had 11.
Tuesday, Girard is at John F. Kennedy, while Lakeview is at Grand Valley.
JOHN F. KENNEDY 68, TRINITY 48: GARFIELD HEIGHTS - The Eagles picked up a North Coast League victory over Trinity on Friday night.

BADGER 42, SOUTHINGTON 36: SOUTHINGTON - Down by five points after the first quarter, Badger was able to come back and get the win.
Badger used a 14-8 third-quarter rally to put the Braves ahead for good. Brandon Bates scored 14 points and Jason Lipps poured in 13. Eric Wilson was the leading scorer for Southington with 13.
Southington looks to recover on the road to face Mineral Ridge on Tuesday. Badger hosts Ledgemont on Tuesday.
NEWTON FALLS 45, CAMPBELL 43: CAMPBELL - It came down to the final seconds, and Newton Falls broke the hearts of Campbell.
Newton Falls' Dale Kernen hit the go-ahead shot as he hit a two-pointer with two seconds left to go in the game. Kernen was also the leading scorer for the Tigers with 13. Ozzie Hawkins tallied 10 points for the Tigers, Jaden Walton scored nine.
Jayle'll Shorter led Campbell with 13 points and Daron Clinkscale added nine.
WINDHAM 88, GARFIELD 74: GARETTSVILLE - Windham earned its 11th win of the season in a high scoring affair against Garfield.
Windham (11-1,7-0 PTC) jumped out to a 24-12 lead after the first quarter and was able to maintain the lead with ease. Windham's Cameron Pozsgai led all scorers with 23 points. Matt Knight scored 21 and grabbed six rebounds for the Bombers, while Parker Rickey scored 15 and Jared Taylor had 11.
Workman was the leading scorer for Garfield with 18 points. Maxey notched a double-double for the G-Men, scoring 12 points and snatching 14 rebounds. Lambert and Pratt both added 15.
URSULINE 57, CARDINAL MOONEY 45 : YOUNGSTOWN - In the battle of the Holy War, the Ursuline Irish came out on top.
Ursuline (5-6) led 32-16 at halftime, but Cardinal Mooney (5-4) made things interesting in the third quarter. Mooney outscored the Irish 22-8 in the third quarter and only trailed by two going into the fourth. However, Ursuline was able to regroup in the fourth quarter and used a 17-7 quarter to get the win.
Ursuline's Desmond McElroy led all scorers with 17 points. Preston Williams followed with 13, and Khallid Pierce scored posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards. Doug Caputo was the leading scorer for Mooney with 13.
SPRINGFIELD 70, JACKSON-MILTON 29: NORTH JACKSON - The Tigers jumped out to a 17-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back an Inter Tri-County League, Upper Tier matchup with the Blue Jays.
Springfield's Brandon Chamberlain led the charge in the early going, scoring seven of his 15 points in the first period, while the Tigers drained all five of their 3s in the first half. Mark Schuler led Springfield with 16 points.
Brandon Mitchell led the Blue Jays with nine points.
BEAVER LOCAL 63, HUBBARD 55: HUBBARD - Beaver Local got the win behind two good offensive performances from Zack Mick and Brandon Fetty.
Beaver Local lead 22-21 in the first half, and used a 19-10 third quarter to string past Hubbard. Mick scored 18 for Beaver Local, and Brandon Fetty scored 16 points for the Beavers.
Hubbard's Jordan Thomson was the game's leading scorer with 22 points and Derek Kopanic scored 17. Kopanic hit five 3-pointers in the loss.
