ORWELL - James Daniel Ponikvar, 49, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, following a lengthy illness.
He was born June 30, 1963, the son of Leon "Skip" and Marlene Rinaldi Ponikvar.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Kathleen Lodge Ponikvar; a brother, John R. Ponikvar; a stepsister, Jennifer Lodge Backovsky; and a stepbrother, James Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Best Funeral Home, Middlefield.
