LABRAE SCHOOLS HOLD HALL FAME INDUCTION: The LaBrae Schools' Alumni Hall of Fame fourth annual induction ceremony will be held Jan. 11 during the half-time of the varsity basketball game at the LaBrae High School. The evening will begin at 6 p.m.
This year's event will honor Terry Armstrong, Richard Bee, Barbara Broome, Russell Sewell and Jerome Stephens. The event is to honor those individuals who through their performance and achievement reflect positively on the school district.
REMEMBERING HOLIDAY PASTS: "Memories of Christmas Past" will be shown from 1 to 5 pm. today through Sunday at the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown. This is the final weekend for the holiday exhibit.
Admission is $6 adults, $5 seniors citizens and $4 children and free to age 3 and younger.
CALLING YOUTH READERS: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave., Warren, is seeking participants for the Pups and Pages program at 6 p.m. Monday. Children in kindergarten to sixth grade can gain confidence and improve their reading skills as they read to a tail-wagging audience.
Children may sign up for 15-minute sessions to read aloud to a registered therapy dog at the library. Dogs are provided by K-9s for Compassion, a Delta Society pet partner group that assists with animal-assisted activity and animal-assisted therapy.
