WARREN - Edward Nolan, 69, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1943, in Knoxville, Tenn., the son of JD and Mary Nolan.
He was a mechanic for Miller's Taxi.
Edward is survived by a daughter, Shirley Chambers of Cleveland; a son, William James of Warren; two brothers, Fred of Cambridge and Bill of Cincinnati; four sisters, Dorothy Burdick and Amelia Hastings, both of Cleveland, Joyce Ann Blevins-Perez of Dennison and Norma Short of Noble County; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Shirley Walz; a son, Eddie Duane; and a brother and a sister.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren, where a funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m.
