FARMDALE - Earl Burwell Bernard, 71, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
He was born Dec. 18, 1941, in Warren, the son of Earl C. and Zelda McKinney Bernard.
Earl was a U.S. Vietnam-era Army veteran. He was retired from Copperweld / CSC, a member of the Cortland Moose Lodge, Trumbull County Metal Detector Club and a Mason. He also was an avid fisherman and motorcyclist.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Bernard; four children, Renee, William, Misti and Alesia and their families; four stepchildren, Michael, Denise, James and Joseph; as well as two sisters, Dorothy and Mae.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Lane Family Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St., Cortland, OH 44410. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6 p.m.
Interment will be private.
