COLUMBUS (AP) - Strong winds and snowfall that have knocked out power to hundreds of Ohio homes and are disrupting post-holiday travel.

Dozens of flights at Ohio airports are expected to be canceled or are delayed. A spokesman said as many as 80 percent of flights out of Cleveland could be canceled by this afternoon.

Several western Ohio counties have issued road travel warnings.

Parts of Ohio are already under blizzard or winter weather warnings, with freezing rain turning to snow predicted for today. It's expected to be heaviest in western and northern Ohio.

Snow accumulations in Ohio could be up to 10 inches, and temperatures will be noticeably colder the rest of the week.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says it pretreated major highways in anticipation of ice and heavy snow.
